Caption: Cheddar. Bristol Excursion, April 19th 1919.
Description: The valley bottom is dry and without any stream but as we approach the village of Cheddar a stream is seen to issue from an arch in the limestone. Its course underground has not been followed but is probably fed some several swallow holes in the Mendip hills.
