Caption: Cheddar. Bristol Excursion, April 19th 1919.
Description: As the gorge runs south-westwards across the strata which are dipping due south we find on the right hand side a series of step like dip slopes and on the left mural faces and jointed bastions progressively increasing in grandeur as the valley deepens toward its outlet on the plain.
