Caption: [Limestone ledges]. Excursion to Lyme Regis, May 31st 1914.
Description: The beds of limestone or ledges cropping out on the sea shore. These form natural breakwaters but unfortunately the Lyme people allow a cement company to break them up and use them for export thus endangering the cliffs that protect the town.
