Caption: Pinhay Bay. Excursion to Lyme Regis, May 31st 1914.
Description: Owing to the Easterly dip of the Lias beds it is quite easy to trace the upwards succession of these beds. At Pinhay Bay we start eastward along the shore when we see higher and higher beds of the Blue Lias series as we pass over them in succession. [photo is likely missing on this page].
