Description: | The Mountain Limestone forms in Derbyshire an inlier of an irregular shape stretching 20 miles from North to South and above 10 miles from East to West with a few little patches in other localities. Owing to earth movements this large inlier forms a pericline or dome, the beds dipping away from the middle of the dome in every direction. |
