Caption: Looking eastwards from the dip-slope of the Stirling Sill at the northern end of Sauchie Craig, Stirlingshire.
Description: The ridge 100-200 ft. wide coincides with the Wallstale Fault, it is taken to be the topographic expression of the dyke-like transgressive igneous body that has been intruded along the plane of the fault and connects Sauchie Craig to Gillies Hill. View is along the dyke-like body of dolerite which connects this outcrop of the sill to that of Gillies Hill. The photograph is taken from point at the northern end of the cliffs of Sauchie Craig, about 305 m. west of Wester Craigend. (See also D00025).
