Description: Panoramic view of Annat Spit on north side of Loch Eil, taken from the old road above Creag a' Chaolais, Argyllshire. Part of a panorama with C04140. Top of spit is a postglacial raised beach feature at 12 m. O.D. Ben Nevis is in background on the right-hand side. Note the constriction in the valley at The Narrows. Nearby, borehole evidence shows reworked glacial gravel, sand and silt reach at least 60 m. thick.
