Caption: Panorama of the Morvern-Strontian granite-complex north of Loch Sunart. Argyllshire.
Description: The central granodiorite and marginal tonalite of the granite-complex form all the relatively low ground in the middle distance across the loch. The steep western margin of the complex is just west of Woodend Cottage. The upper part of the ridge behind this white cottage is made up of psammitic Moine schists. Low clouds obscure the summits of distant mountains, which are all formed of Moine schists. View from Strontian in the east (right) to Woodend Cottage in the west (left). Taken from hillside south-east of Liddesdale on the south of Loch Sunart. Panorama with C4011.
