Description: South-west bank of River Forth, 0.8 km. north of Airth, 12.1 km. east-south-east of Stirling, looking south-east, Stirlingshire. Saltings at the mouth of a 'pow' (tidal creek). The saltings have an embankment enclosing land reclaimed from the foreshore. In the year 1764 the whole of the enclosed area and that beyond it as far as the cottage in the distance, was foreshore 'sleek' mud.
