Description: Willowbank, 7.2 km. east-south-east of Stirling, looking east, Stirlingshire. The fertile arable Carse or '50 ft.' raised beach plain. On the right is the birch-covered north corner of Dunmore Moss. Beyond Dunmore Moss is the tree-clad 'island' of Carboniferous Millstone Grit sandstones, the Hill of Dunmore rises from the Carse plain. In the distance, Tulliallan Forest (Millstone Grit), and Saline Hill (volcanic rocks).
