Beyond Dunmore Moss is the tree-clad 'island' of Carboniferous Millstone Grit sandstones, the Hill of Dunmore rises from the Carse plain. In the distance, Tulliallan Forest (Millstone Grit), and Saline Hill (volcanic rocks). |
