Description: Crawton, 6.4 km. south of Stonehaven, Kincardineshire. A funnel-shaped blowhole or 'gloup'; the collapsed roof of a cave driven along a prominent north-west - south-east joint in conglomerate of Lower Old Red Sandstone age. At the top left the Crawton Basalt lava flow is seen overlying the conglomerate. There is also a thick mantle of glacial till.
