Description: 2.4 km. east-north-east of Dalriach Lodge (Brae Roy Lodge), upper Glen Roy, Inverness-shire. Successive river terraces carved out of the Canal Burn delta. The fan consists of fluviatile gravels interbedded with fossil soils resting on laminated silts. The toe of the gravel at 260 m. O.D. rests on lacustrine deposits. The fine suite of river terraces were formed after the drainage of the 260 m. lake.
