Description: North Kessock, north shore of Beauly Firth, Ross & Cromarty. Terraces and sea cliffs of 25 ft. and 100 ft. raised beaches. Terraces and old sea cliff of the postglacial (25 ft.) raised beach and terrace of the late-glacial (100 ft.) raised beach. The high ridge of Ord Hill composed of Middle Old Red Sandstone conglomerate in the background. The late-glacial raised beach extends from Craigton Point on the right for four miles to the west as far as Redcastle.
