Description: Glen Croe, 3.2 km. west of Arrochar, Argyllshire. Looking west. Landslip in drift. The foot of the landslip of morainic drift material is here seen crossing the road (on left) and damming the stream, causing a large pool to back up on the upstream side and flooding the farmhouse. The large boulders in the centre of the photograph are probably the remains of an ancient landslip from the opposite side of the glen. Steep slopes, high rainfall and unconsolidated material are a combination likely to lead to landslips, as here.
