Description: View looking west from Stob a' Choire Lieth, (close to Stob Choire Claurigh) 8.9 km. east of Ben Nevis, Inverness-shire. Mountains of folded Glencoe Quartzite, the folding being greatly obscured by scree. Part of a panorama with C01831. The partly snow-covered peak in the right distance is Aonach Beag formed of Dalradian Leven Schists. The rocks in the foreground are of Glencoe Quartzite, Dalradian Supergroup age. Note the surfaces sterwn with frost-shattered blocks and scree.
