Description: Allt Breac, Daless, Findhorn Valley, Nairnshire. Cliff sections in the Allt Breac Valley showing glaciofluvial fan-delta deposits overlying till being eroded by rain-wash. Near view of part of a marginal terrace at 544 m. O.D. of stratified silts, sands and gravels, overlying boulder clay marking highest limit of Findhorn glacier. Shows formation of aretes by torrential erosion of the boulder clay. The rock outcrop is Precambrian metamorphic rocks of the Central Highland Migmatite Complex of uncertain status and stratigraphical position.
