A marginal terrace at 305 m. O.D. of sand and gravel overlying boulder clay, marking a stage in the retreat of Findhorn glacier. The cliff is formed by undercutting by the stream. The scar shows the formation of aretes by torrential erosion of the boulder clay by rain-wash. |
