Description: View from near Lochan Tigh Choinnich, 2.0 km. west of Ardfern, Argyllshire. View across the low-lying islands south of Easdale all composed of Dalradian metasediments. The island of Shuna composed of phyllites and limestones is in the middle distance; followed by Luing, formed of black schist; Scarba, on the left, with Lunga to the north of it both composed of quartzite. The Garvellachs (quartzite and boulder bed) and Mull in the distance.
