Description: Shore, due E. of Galloways Bridge. Looking NE. Post-cleavage dome. Massive blue-grey mudstones with cleavage parallel to bedding, folded into a dome truncated seawards by a fault. A lamprophyre dyke stands up as a wall and can be seen two-thirds of way up left-hand side of photograph.
