Description: Ulster Limestone Corporation Quarry, Legmore Townland 650 yd. at N 78 degrees W. of Legmore House. Looking E. Detail of the Upper Chalk in a quarry near Moira, Co. Down. Bedded Senonian Chalk with flint bands and nodules seen in working face of Ulster Limestone Corporation Quarry. Top of hammer handle rests on lower of two posts bounded by three well-marked glauconitic bedding planes characteristic of the Lisburn-Moira area. The flint above the top glauconitic bedding plane is termed the 'Og-knee' flint by the local quarrymen.
