Description: The Glen Quarry (Balmer's Glen) 920 yd. at N. 113 degrees E. of Maghaberry Crossroads, W. side of quarry. Looking approx. N. Clay-with-flints piped into the top of Upper Chalk (Senonian). Clay-with-flints (some reddened) piped into the Upper Chalk (See also J. Rhodes No.5 of May 1955). Overlying rather flaggy weathering Lower Basalts rest on Clay-with-flints at about position of hammer head.
