Description: The Glen Quarry (Balmer's Glen) 920 yd. at N. 113 degrees E. of Maghaberry crossroads, W. side of quarry. Looking N. Clay-with-flints piped into Upper Chalk near Maghaberry Co. Antrim. Clay-with-flints (some reddened) piped into the top of the Upper Chalk. About six feet seen (rule at margin of pipe). Overlying rather flaggy weathering Tertiary basalt rests on the Clay-with-flints.
