Description: Parkbrow Quarry, Kentmere. Looking W. Brathay Flag Formation, Parkbrow Quarry, Kentmere. Massive-bedded finely-laminated silty mudstones typical of the upper part of the formation are exposed in the quarry. Cleavage is almost coincident with the bedding, dipping to the left. The bedding surface on the right of the photograph has yielded the graptolite Monograptus flemingii.
