Caption: 4 km. south-south-east of Glenfeshie Lodge, 15 km. south-east of Kingussie, Inverness-shire.
Description: Hanging gorges, cut through Grampian Group psammite, descending from the plateau on the north side of Glen Feshie to the overdeepened main valley below. Steep alluvial cone at mouth of gorge. Deep gully (centre), possibly joint- or fault-controlled in slopes on south side of Glen Feshie. Gully broadened and deepened by frost-shattering during valley glacier phase of last glaciation. To right, smaller gullies have broad alluvial fans extending to edge of main flood plain. Crags made of Grampian Group psammite (metamorphosed sandstone). Note screes beneath crags, right of centre.
