| Description: | Gleann Einich, 10 km. south-south-east of Aviemore, looking south towards the Cairngorms, Inverness-shire. Glaciofluvial terraces with lateral moraine above. Granite hills in distance. Low ridges on far side of river are glaciofluvial sand and gravel. Higher ridge beyond is lateral moraine extending southwards along the western side of Gleann Einich. In the distance are the hills of Cairngorm granite, with the notch of the Lairig Ghru, and Sron na Lairige to the right of the notch and Cairn Lochan to the left. |
