Description: Gleann Einich, 10 km. south-south-east of Aviemore, Inverness-shire. Terraces of glaciofluvial sand and gravel, isolated and denuded by postglacial stream erosion. Large ridge in centre consists of remnants of terrace of glaciofluvial sand and gravel. Sand and gravel also in slope on near left. Postglacial river has cut deep valley in glaciofluvial deposits. Mountain in background consists of coarse porphyritic phase of Cairngorm Main Granite.
