Description: North-east of Rubha Aoineadh an Reithe, south-west coast of Jura, Argyllshire. Palaeocene basalt dykes form stacks on postglacial raised beach. The flat above is the late-glacial raised beach. Present-day storm beach in bay. In foreground Palaeocene dolerite dykes stand proud of Jura Quartzite which they intrude. On far promontory, lower bench is postglacial raised beach at c. 14 m. above O.D. Dykes stand above this bench as fossil sea stacks. Gently sloping surface at back of bay is late-glacial raised beach, c. 34 m. above O.D.
