Description: Dalmeny, oil storage tanks under construction at the BP Tank Farm, Lothian Region. The tank farm, which when completed would be surrounded by screening embankments (the material of which is derived from old oil shale bings) is situated to receive oil from the Hound Point tanker teminal and also from the pipeline that landfalls at Cruden Bay and travels overland from BP's Forties Field. Exceptional care was taken to reduce the environmental impact of this facility due to its position in Edinburgh's greenbelt.
