Description: 100 m. SE of Low Bridge, Knaresborough. Chapel of Our Lady of the Crag (restored), formerly St. Robert's Chapel. A small chapel hewn from the Lower Magnesian Limestone - Upper Subdivision. The limestone is composed of large-scale (5-18 m. sets) of cross-bedded oolite. The three sub-horizontal cuts in the face represent the roof positions of ancient dwellings once occupied by local weavers.
