Description: Wyresdale Tunnel (Lune-Wyre Link) SE of Lancaster, 1085 m. from the Abbeystead Portal. Slump scar in silty mudstone. A penecontemporaneous slump in sub-horizontal silty mudstone (seen in the lower left of the photograph) has left a slightly arcuate scar (extending from the hammer head to the bottom right of the photograph). Later silty mudstones were deposited on the scar and have a south-easterly dip (right centre of photograph). The slump indicates a north-west to south-east palaeoslope. The hammer shaft - 0.3 m.
