Description: Prudhamstone Quarry. Quarrying of the massive sandstone above the Four Fathom Limestone has exposed the overlying sandstones, siltstones which form a number of minor cyclothems. There are also some thin coals and impure limestones. The base of the Great Limestone, with the Chaetetes Band occurs at the extreme top of the quarry face.
