Description: Little Ormes Head, Llandudno, Caernarvonshire (Gwynedd). Looking NNW. Massive reef limestone and breccia forming melange and collapse structure - Dyserth Limestone Group (Carboniferous Limestone). Joints and fissures infilled with marl, siltstone (? Permo-Triassic) and residual drift. Thin shaly flaggy false-bedded sandstone at top of face. Lower part of face (left) contains wedge-shaped cavity filled with dull red and purplish fine sandstone and siltstone interlaminated with tea-green marl.
