Description: NNW wall of Gedloch Quarry, near Coleburn (A941 Elgin - Rothes). Extensional Devonian listric normal faulting in Grampian Group psammites. Part of a series of listric normal faults forming an 'extensional duplex' in banded grey, locally migmatitic, micaceous psammites. Grey gouge occurs on several fault surfaces particularly the low-angle ones. Note that a low-angle dislocation cuts the steeper fault. Pyrite mineralization is seen in parts.
