Description: | This specially-equipped Land Rover is based at the Hydrogeology Group main office at Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Several probes are seen, all of which can be lowered by electric winch to over 400 m. depth on boreholes. The vehicle is also equipped with a computer for digital recording of data. The equipment is used mainly in water supply boreholes. |
