Description: | Here, a flow impeller with conical water catcher is seen. It is used to measure flow rates within boreholes and can identify the relative amounts of groundwater entering the borehole at inflow points. A sensitive impeller sends a signal to a computer in the Land Rover where a monitor displays real time data. The meter can operate to over 400 m. depth. |
