Caption: Oblique aerial view south-south-east of Rubha Mor, Rowardennan and Loch Lomond.
Description: The delta of the Douglas Water at Inverbeg is prominent. The wooded ground around Rowardennan on the east side and Ross Point also well seen. The high ground is underlain by Dalradian metamorphosed and folded and cleaved greywackes. The Highland Border is marked by the most south-easterly line of islands. Looking from the deeply scoured central part of Loch Lomond to the island-studded lower part and the Midland Valley. Rubha Mor forms the distinct promontory with the new road cut to the west (in shadow on the right).
