Caption: Oblique aerial view north-north-east from above Inverbeg to Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond.
Description: Prominent traces of the bedding are seen on Ben Lomond dipping to the right. The change to steeply south-south-east dipping rocks runs from the ridge of Ben Lomond down left to Ptarmigan Farm and across to Rubha Mor and up to the top corner of the forest to the west. The upper glacially scoured part of Loch Lomond is seen to the north. The area is formed of Dalradian Beinn Bheula Schist/Ben Ledi Grit Formation. The overall orientation of the bedding and foliation is sub-horizontal to gently south-south-east dipping.
