Caption: Oblique aerial view looking north-north-west from Glen Douglas to the Arrochar Hills and Loch Lomond.
Description: The rocks on Beinn Bhreac (centre) and Ben Reoch behind form rough, rocky, hummocky topography and some broadly horizontal rock features are also seen. These are characteristic of the 'Flat Belt' where the main bedding and foliation traces are sub-horizontal to gently dipping. The upper part of Loch Lomond is seen to the right. The hills are formed of Dalradian Beinn Bheula Schists, originally turbiditic arenites, wackes and siltstones, now metamorphosed to greenschist facies.
