Description: Oblique aerial photograph looking north-north-west to Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Hills. Ben Lomond is composed of Dalradian, Southern Highland Group, Ben Ledi Grits and Green Beds, Precambrian. These schistose units are steeply dipping on the slope facing but become regionally flat beyond the summit of Ben Lomond. The Arrochar Hills behind (The Cobbler, Beinn Narnain and Ben Vane) lie across the deep trench of Loch Lomond.
