Caption: View west from Conic Hill across Loch Lomond to the Luss Hills.
Description: The wooded Arrochymore Point (left centre) shows altered sepentinite locally silicified inland. The Highland Boundary Fault occurs just north-west (right) of here in the broad bay. The Luss Hills are composed of steeply-dipping Dalradian greywacke psammites and slaty Dunoon Phyllites. The ridge from which the photograph is taken is underlain by Lower Devonian conglomerate. The low ground with the farm of Milarrochy and the poorly-drained upland is underlain by Upper Devonian - Lower Carboniferous sandstones.
