Caption: View to north-north-east from hillside above Loch Lomond of Rubha Mor. Inverness-shire.
Description: The 'flat' beds further north-west can be seen to turn over to dip c. 50 degrees to 60 degrees to the south-south-east across a monoformal structure termed the Downbend. The axis of this structure is exposed here. Note the pre-split blasting and rock bolting on the large rock face. Roadcut on A82 at Rubha Mor, Loch Lomond. The new A82 is cut through massive gritty greywacke psammites of the Southern Highland Group (Dalradian) which here change their regional orientation from steep to flat.
