Description: Auchindoun Castle and Glen Fiddich, 600 m. north-north-east of Bridgehaugh (A941). View down part of Glen Fiddich towards the north-north-east with Auchindoun Castle in the distance. The castle is built on Dalradian Ballachulish Subgroup limestone whereas the valley and slopes to the east are underlain by slaty graphitic semi-pelites and pelites which show kyanite pseudomorphing chiastolite. The river meanders in a flat floored valley.
