Two phases of deformation in moderately thick to thin-bedded greywacke of the Kirkmaiden Formation (Hawick Group). Major first fold structures, inclined steeply to the north are deformed by conjugate open folds, inclined steeply to the south and flat lying, and associated subhorizontal minor thrust faults. |
