Description: View looking north from Drumclune, across Glen Urquhart. Inverness-shire. General view of Glen Urquhart Complex an ultrabasic body of serpentinite intruded into semipelites and psammites of the higher units of the Loch Eil Division. The foreground is formed entirely of Moine rocks, whereas the forested slopes on the opposite side of the glen are almost entirely in serpentinite, which forms the highest summit (Beinn a' Ghairchin) on the left horizon. Schists and limestones of the Glen Urquhart Complex however form the second highest summit (Sgorr Gaoithe), above the clearing in the forest.
