Description: Lava scarp to the east of Greenland Reservoirs 3 m. east of Dumbarton. The lava scarp is formed by the lowest flows of upper group of Carboniferous Clyde Plateau Volcanic Formation lavas. The Conchno lavas are macroporphyritic olivine basalts of Dalmeny type. They represent the restarting of the eruption of lavas after a major break marked by the underlying Greenside Volcaniclastic Member.
