Description: The Downans at Knockderry, near Cove, Rosneath peninsula. Dumbartonshire. Two tree-covered foliated epidiorite knolls, the Big and Little Downans. The epidiorite knolls are found within rocks of the Beinn Bheula Schist (Upper Dalradian). Gourock can be distinguished in the background.
