The epidiorite knolls are found within rocks of the Beinn Bheula Schist (Upper Dalradian). Gourock can be distinguished in the background. They represent a metamorphosed igneous rock called gabbro within the rocks of mainly sedimentary origin (Ben Bheula Schist). |
