Description: Near Linkswood, north-east Fife. Looking south-east. Glacial sand and gravel forming south-east orientated esker ridges. A section through one of these ridges reveals the deposit to be an ill-sorted sandy gravel with much boulder and cobble grade material. These sediments are thought to be eskerine, deposited beneath ice by meltwater.
