Description: Town Quarry, Charlbury. Working face shows the following Middle Jurassic sequence: Taynton Limestone Formation (5 m.), overlying Charlbury Formation (2.8 m.), resting on Sharp's Hill Formation (2.2 m.) in upper face, and Chipping Norton Limestone Formation (6 m.) in lower face.
