The mountain in the background is Ben Lui, 1130 m., and the river is the River Cononish. The Tyndrum Fault runs past the houses at Cononish (right to centre). The Tyndrum Fault is one of a series of parallel north-east trending faults showing sinistral displacement that occur between the major boundary faults of the Great Glen and the Highland Boundary. |
