Description: From near west end of Loch Laggan. Looking north-east towards Binnein Shuas. Lochaber. The flat-lying ground is formed of fluvioglacial terraces. This photograph is now of historical interest as this area of the River Spean in the foreground has now been flooded to form a new reservoir. Binnein Shuas is a composite intrusion of pegmatite and leucogranite surrounded by the Loch Laggan Psammite Formation, (Grampian Group, Dalradian Supergroup).
